Welcome to American Legion Post 440 located at 41 Linden Ave in Newtown, PA. We are actively involved in our community, and committed to veterans from ALL conflicts and their families. Since we've been around for one hundred years, we have collected a huge quantity of resources.

We are over 220 members strong, and of course, we are always seeking new members. If you are a veteran who wants to hang out or chat with your brothers and sisters who were there—or even if you are just interested—please contact us, ask a question, or better yet—come down to one of our meetings.

ALL veterans are welcome. We are still serving our country.

January Events

Tuesday, January 6 @1930 Executive Committee Meeting. All members are welcome to attend.
Tuesday, January 20@1930 General Membership Meeting. Dinner will be served upstairs @1800.
Our 2026 Post 440 Membership Renewal Drive is doing very well! We now have 149 Members renewed for 2026! Our Goal is to have ALL members renewed by January 31! Members who have not renewed by January 31, 2026, will be placed into the "expired" list and will lose their Continuous years! Let's get 'er done!
